My name is Margaret Ellen. This is my space. I am sorry if it offends, worries, or inspires you. No one should ever look at it ever. However, if you do enjoy it, feel free to message me. I am painfully friendly.

I’m in love with this gif. Everything about it. The rain drizzling. The candle flickering. The colors. I love it.

I don’t always like the rain, but when I do it’s because my day looks like this.

Watch out for intellect,
because it knows so much it knows nothing
and leaves you hanging upside down,
mouthing knowledge as your heart
falls out of your mouth.

the timid european ground squirrel, stopping to smell the daisies, photographed in vienna by julian rad, who explains, “you have to be at eye level with the squirrels. that means you have to lay on your stomach for quite a few hours in order to get them in front of your lens. you have to make yourself invisible. it is important that they have no indication you are there.” (see also: more precious lil woodland buddies)

Worn Out, 1889, oil on canvas by Hans Anderson Brendekilde, Danish, 1857-1942. Funen Art Museum, Odense, Denmark.
Brendekilde studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Arts in Copenhagen. As there was another Hans Anderson at the school, he changed his name to coincide with his birthplace, Brendekilde. His work ranged from social realism to religious scenes and later to idyllic village life.
